2019 Flower Show
This years show was held in Weston super Mare Winter Gardens.

2018 Flower Show
It has been a difficult season for gardeners so it was really good to see that the exhibits were as good and as plentiful as ever.  Visitors from other parts of the country were very complimentary about the quality of the show overall, and the welcome they received.  Two exhibitors in particular, Steve Ellis and Amanda duRose were the standout gardeners, scooping most of the cups between them but many others were pleased with their seconds and thirds and occasional firsts.  The mayor was with us for quite a period in the afternoon and presented the prizes.  He arrived early and seemed to enjoy looking around the show before the formal presentations.  Looking on Facebook on Sunday there were some really pleased people who were posting selfies of themselves with their trophies and exhibits.  Well done to everyone.  When we come to think of next year’s show which will be the 75th we must remember just how involving it has been not just for members but for gardeners right across the town.  The Mercury was caught up in the enthusiasm and gave the show a great write up and photo double page. We really need to say a big thank you to our Show Secretary, John Chapman, who has done such a wonderful job.  Long time former Chairman and flower show guru, Bert Filer, has written to me in these terms  “I would just like to congratulate John and the committee  for all their hard work  in organising such a wonderful show.  This is only John's second year as Flower Show Secretary and my goodness he has certainly kept the show going and has made it even more successful. Well done “

2017 Flower Show
We are delighted that John Chapman took on the very important role of Show Secretary which this year was held on 12th August 2017.

2016 Flower Show
Thanks to our main sponsors, BID & Weston Town Council, we returned to The Town Square again this year. The weather was very kind to us and the number of visitors was greater than last  year. The standard of entries was high despite a difficult growing year. Entry numbers were on a par with the previous year, handicraft entries were lower but photography entries were higher.
It was good to see some new names on the list of winners.
There were plants for sale, and a tombola that attracted many customers all day.
Our visitors were also impressed by the display “The MadHatter’s Tea Party”. The winning entries in the schools’  “Plant  a Wheelbarrow Competition” were on show.
